OUR STORY
How we got started
Sam and Nora met while both working at The Harmony Equine Center as Trainers. An immediate sparked clicked in 2019 and they've been dreaming of starting their own training business since. Selling Sam's 4-year old red roan gelding, Logan, triggered them to open up their own business. Sam and Nora have over fifteen years of combined experience. Married in 2023, they decided the next move for them was to start Grogan Horses and to provide quality horses to the public. From colt starting, problem horses, trail riding and performance horses, Grogan Horses covers it all and loves to educate both horse and rider to expand their knowledge.
ABOUT GROGAN HORSES
Both Sam and Nora have had a passion for horses since they were kids. Sam worked at Harmony for a total of five years while Nora was there for nine months to leave and work for a Reining Horse Trainer, Shane Brown. While Nora is not actively training full-time she does still work with her own horses and hops on client's horses to collaborate with Sam. The two work together in sync and recognize that their good fortune comes from God and his many blessings!
Meet "The Girls"
Sam and Nora love horses and enjoy sharing their passion together. It wouldn't be the same ranch without their two girls. If you're out at the ranch, you will come across Adaline, an Australian Shepard, and Roxy, a Red Heeler Mix, running around on the property. These two girls make up the Grogan Family and keep things entertaining for our clients. Whether they keep you company to brush your horse or follow you around for a trail ride, you will see these two girls often. Please say hi!
